LO5 - Evaluation of Feedback
From the feedback I have received, I have found that where my idea is great and I thought deeply into my practicality and the opportunities that come with this product. It brings a lot of new ideas and concepts while innovating upon current social interaction concepts with the idea of your own personal space being one of them and allowing people to customise this space.
So from this I feel like the next step of planning for my product would be adding in new customisation options as this seemed to be the most popular section of my product and I feel I should make it so that people can customise not just how they want their experience to look but also make it so that they can customise what they want their experience to feel like and how they want to use and make the most of the service, as I had explained in my presentation, my service will have both professional and social uses dependant on the user's needs.
However, I believe that to have even better feedback on my idea, an alpha phase of the product should be developed to allow professionals to look ad to what the experience will be like, so perhaps i could allow Anne to try the alpha phase to allow me to get some more professional input and it would be great to see how her views would change between the proposal and the release of an actual product. I would then work on a beta version based on the feedback gathered from the alpha stage of testing, the beta however would be released to a certain number of the public to gain audience feedback on the product, to make them want to do this other than having an early release of the product, a cosmetic will be given to them that they can only get through the beta which will make them wish to participate further. This will be better as it will be a great way to get quantitative data as the data I received from my presentation was more qualitative as it was written and more detailed and on a smaller scale, so to get some data that is better to analyse i will need to get quantitative data to see if they match.
